Happy Rolph's Animal Farm

On the Sunday of our long weekend, Ryan and I took Lauren to our local animal farm. It's a great little place to take kids and the best part about it is that it's free. Lauren and I had already been once this year, but Daddy really wanted to take her, so we went again as a family. She really loved checking out all of the animals and mimicking the sounds they make as we walked by. I think her favourite that day was the chickens, as daddy had her feeding them leaves. Watching her laugh and smile was the best part of the day. It makes all the tough stuff of being a parent slip out of your mind. Here are some pics.

Zooz

Sorry I haven't posted recently. We had a nice long weekend together back for July 1st. While Canada Day landed on a Wednesday this year...it kind of threw a monkey wrench into our plans. However, Ryan took the Friday off so we could take Lauren to Zooz. She had an absolute blast! She really enjoyed viewing all the animals and insisted she walk most of the way. Mommy and Daddy were a little absent minded when packing up our things for the day and forgot our camera. Luckily, Ryan had his blackberry handy to take a few pics. Unfortunately, I don't have them right now, so once I do, I will post them on here. We got wicked pics with a giraffe right close by in the background. The weather was perfect as it wasn't too hot or sunny.
