Well last Thursday was ultrasound day. Ryan worked from home that day so he could attend with me. It was hard to down all that water. The worst part was once I got there and in the examination room I was told I had too much fluid in me and had to get rid of some. The ultrasound went well. The tech was limited in what she could tell us because official results have to be relayed to us by the OB. But she did tell us that everything that they look for on the scan was there. So that was a big relief. Ryan and I had decided to be on team green again this time around, meaning we would not find out the sex of the baby. With my pregnancy with Lauren, even the tech did not know her sex because she had her legs crossed. This time, the tech did mention that she saw the sex because the baby's legs were flailing all over the place. That made it harder to take knowing that the tech knew but we didn't. But it was a nice surprise to find out that Lauren was a girl when she was born, so I really believe it will be a nice surprise with this baby too.
This past Tuesday I had my appt with the OB. All was well...nice strong heartbeat. Dr. said that everything looked great from the ultrasound and that measurements were normal and on target for how far along I am. That was a relief. I can't believe I'm just a few days shy of 20 weeks. Half way there already! Time is going by so quickly!
Glad your appt went well! I admire you for being able to go team green! I could never do it!
