This is a few days late, but has is the first chance I've had to get on here. I was very fortunate to celebrate a wonderful Mother's Day with my little sweetheart. We had a huge breakfast Sunday morning with both mine and Ryan's parents. Lauren was in her glory. She loves all the attention that she gets from her grandparents, so naturally she had a blast! Our afternoon was filled with relaxing time....not something that comes too often. We also took a trip to one of the local nurseries to pick out some flowers for our flower bed in the front yard. The person who owned our house prior to us was elderly, and it showed! Finally, a year and a half later, we are taking care of some of the gardening! Ryan and Lauren were sweet enough to pick out a beautiful book for me (well, really for Lauren) about Mommies and their babies. It's such a sweet book. I read it to Lauren that night as I rocked her to sleep. I also received a gift certificate for some awesome services from my esthetician. Can't wait to use that!
As the day came to an end, I was reflecting on how lucky I was to have a loving husband and wonderful and healthy daughter. As my belly begins to pop, I'm reminded of how our family is growing and how truly blessed I am!
